Mt. Churen Himal located in western part of Nepal
and it is a part of Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve area at Jaljala. This area is
completely apart from the beaten paths, beside expedition there are many trekkers
visit this area and it is for the person who love the beauty of nature and the
wild wide valleys of course spectacular view of Dhaulagiri and its range, Annapurna,
Gurja Himal, Churen Himal.
This trekking and expedition
offers an opportunity to discover areas which remain practically an Individual
lifestyle. In Churen Himal you will have a chance to trek into the massif of
the Dhorpatan hills at about 3000-4300m. This area is full of rivers and fast
glacial streams and lake, lots of forest and animals. Our route crosses very
nice Chhetri, Magar and Chhantyal villages, especially Gurjagaon is very good
majority of Chhantyal people. Drive from Kathmandu to Beni Bazaar and will have overnight there and our staff will lead
you to the foot of Churen Himal Base Camp ahead.

Expedition Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free.
Day 03: Official works for expedition and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.
Day 04: Drive to Beni Bazaar 820m. by drive then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Beni – Babichaur.
Day 06: Babichaur – Darbang Bazaar 1113m.
Day 07: Darbang – Dharapani.
Day 08: Dharapani – Mattim.
Day 09: Mattim – Lumsung 1676m.
Day 10: Lumsung – Gurjagoan.
Day 11: Gurjagoan – Darsinge Kharka.
Day 12: Darsinge Kharka – Bundzunge Kharka.
Day 13: Bundzunge Kharka– Churen Himal BC.
Day 14 – 29: Climbing periods for Churen Himal 7371m.
Day 30: Clean up Base Camp (Reserve day)
Day 31: Trek back to Bundzunge Kharka.
Day 32: Bundzunge Kharka – Gurjagoan.
Day 33: Gurjagoan – Lulang village.
Day 34: Lulang – Takum.
Day 35: Takum – Darbang Bazaar.
Day 36: Darbang – Beni Bazaar overnight Teahouse Lodge.
Day 37: Beni – Kathmandu by reserve Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 38: Kathmandu free.
Day 39: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
Expedition Cost:
Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis: USD …….. Per Person.

- Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
- Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 2600. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…
Expedition Service includes:
- All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport, trekking, expedition pick up & drop.
- 6 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
- Transport as per itinerary for members, staff and Liaison Officer.
- Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
- Per Person 50 KG. Equipment’s luggage / barrels allowed till to Base Camp.
- Peak permit fee.
- Full board during the trekking.
- All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs and tables at the base camp.
- Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
- Base camp tents for members and staff.
- Equipment allowance, wages and insurance for base camp staff and Liaison Officer.
- Visa extension.
- National Park Conservation Fee.
- Satellite phone (Pay calls).
- Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator.
- Helicopter rescue insurance for Nepalese staff.
- Agency service charges.
Service does not include:
- Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
- Airfare from / to your country.
- Nepal entry visa fee. (Can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
- Hotel after 6 nights stay in Kathmandu.
