Our approach from Lhasa to the peak takes two days by drive to get the Base camp of Mt. Kula Kangri. This mountain is considered a holy, and is a pilgrimage destination especially for Tibetans people and Buddhist. Mt. Kula Kangri is surrounded by a series of 6,000 to 7, 000 meter high peaks all of which remain unclimbed.

Expedition Itinerary:

Sep 03 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff & transfer to Hotel.      
Sep 04 Day 02: Day for Tibet visa procedure.
Sep 05 Day 03: Day for Tibet visa procedure.
Sep 06 Day 04: Fly to Lhasa, meet our staff & transfer to Hotel.
Sep 07 Day 05: Sightseeing in Lhasa, Drepung, Sera & Norbu Lingka monasteries.
Sep 08 Day 06: Sightseeing in Lhasa, Potala Palace, Jokhang & Barkhor market.
Sep 08 Day 07: Drive to Kula Kangri Base Camp (350Km).
Sep 09 - 11 Day 08 – 10: Stay at Base Camp for acclimatization.
Sep 12 - Oct 02 Day 11 – 31: Kula Kangri 7538m. Climbing Period.
Oct 03 Day 32: Trek Back to Base Camp.
Oct 04 Day 33: Drive to Shigatse. Overnight at Guest House.
Oct 05 Day 34: Drive to Zhangmu. Overnight at Hotel.
Oct 06 Day 35: Drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Oct 07 Day 36: Free day in Kathmandu.
Oct 08 Day 37 Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

 

Expedition Cost in group joining basis; (Minimum 4 person required in group)
Expedition cost up to Advance Base Camp: USD 7,400 Per Person
High Altitude Sherpa: USD 3,900 (If required)

Expedition Cost Includes:

  • All land transportation by Car, Van, Land Cruiser & Mini Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport & expedition pick up & drop).
  • Accommodation in Kathmandu for 5 nights at bed and breakfast basis.
  • Tibet visa fee.
  • Road permit and travel permit.
  • Expedition Permit fee of Mt. Kula Kangri.
  • Transportation as per itinerary.
  • Accommodation in Tibet on full board basis (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
  • Service of Liaison officer and interpreter.
  • Nepalese Sherpa cook and kitchen boy at BC and ABC.
  • Entry fee of Kitchen staffs.
  • Sightseeing in Lhasa.
  • Air ticket: Kathmandu – Lhasa (Gongar airport – one way).
  • Equipment allowances and daily salary of kitchen staffs, Liaison officer & interpreter.
  • Insurance of kitchen staffs, Liaison officer and interpreter.
  • Food and fuel at base camp and advance base camp.
  • Kitchen, dining, store, shower tent, toilet tents, chair, table at BC & ABC.
  • Single sleeping tent and mattress at BC and ABC.
  • Per Person 50 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or barrels allowed for expedition till Advance Base Camp.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • Transfer of all expedition goods and equipment’s to BC and back.
  • 2 Expedition duffel bag or, barrel for each member.
  • Generator or Solar panel at Advance Base Camp for light and charging.
  • Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
  • Emergency Oxygen Mask & regulator at advance base camp (for medical use).
  • Garbage deposit fee.
  • Medical Kit Box for crew’s & simple medical service for members till ABC.
  • Agency Service charge.

 

Expedition Cost Doesn’t Include:

  • Airfare: To & from your country.
  • International airport departure tax.
  • Nepal entry & Re-entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu.
  • All Drinks except tea and coffee.
  • Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
  • Tents above advance base camp.
  • High altitude food and fuel above base camp.
  • Oxygen bottles with mask and regulator-Poisk Oxygen System (available on requst).
  • Personal local transportation in Kathmandu and Tibet except above mentioned programs.
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation & lost luggage.
  • Applicable permit fees & customs charges, etc. for personal SAT phone, Walkie-Talkie communication equipment & commercial filming.
  • Porters and transportation in case of natural calamity.
  • Nepal custom duty charges for import of expedition goods.
  • Extra yaks if required.
