The classic route through the Sherpa heartland to the foot of the world's highest peaks on Earth

Everest Base Camp trek follows in the footsteps of the great climbing parties. Trekking through Sherpa heartland past cultivated fields and small villages, we follow the Dudh Koshi River before the hard work begins as we climb up to Namche Bazar. Above the tree-line the scenery is stark but spectacular and fantastic views.

The incredible Buddhist Monastery at Tengboche is a photographer's paradise, set against the backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest and other huge, snowcapped peaks. With time for acclimatization en route, our goal is Everest Base Camp (5,364m) on the Khumbu glacier as well as Icefall and the opportunity to climb Kala Pattar (5,545m) for a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Our descent, surprisingly fast, brings us back to Lukla and our panoramic flight back to Kathmandu.

Outline Trekking Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla (2,860m) and trek to Phakding (2,652m) T. Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding Village – Namche Bazar (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization, with a day hike to Hotel Everest View (3,790m) and the surrounding areas.
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3,867m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tengboche – Dingboche (4,410m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,940m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) explore Everest Base Camp (5,364m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Trek to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for Mt. Everest View, return to Gorakshep, trek back to Lobuche.
Day 11: Lobuche – Pangboche Village (3,985m) or Tengboche. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Pangboche Village – Namche Bazar. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Namche Bazar – Lukla Bazar (2,860m) and transfer to Hotel.
Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap or, Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 16: Last minute, transfer to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Cost Includes

All ground transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace or tourist Bus. (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at tourist standard Hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis.
3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
1 English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
Trekking Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality and Sagarmatha National Park entrance fees.

Cost Excludes

Personal transportation except those mentioned in the above program.
Major meals lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
Personal trekking gears as well as sleeping bag which must cover over minus -15 degree Celsius.
Expenses of a personal nature.
Emergency evacuation (if required).
Drinks, except tea and coffee at cup system (if participants ordered in small/big pot while in trekking then guest must pay by themselves,
Soup in Lunch, Drinking boiled water, Mineral Bottle Water, Coca Cola, Bar bills Hot shower and hot water bags for night to keep warm inside sleeping bag.
